Known as the “Living Museum”, Sarawak Cultural Village offers an opportunity to admire the richly diverse multi-racial cultures of Sarawak. The major indigenous tribes include the Iban, Bidayuh, Melanau, Orang Ulu, and Penan who live in their individual longhouses or huts display their unique cultures and traditions. In addition, there are also replicas of The Malay House and Chinese Farm House. Presentations of traditional welcoming gestures at each home and the demonstrations of the art of making handicrafts are absolutely wonderful. The tour concludes with the extremely fascinating cultural performances at the Amphitheatre.
